 About Compass Marine
Compass Marine was started by Erica and Tim Mear in 1989. Over the years the company has grown and now incorporates their daughter Emilie, son in law Alan, and Simon as part of the team. Because we are a family firm we have the ability to deal with our customers as human beings and not as statistics in a faceless corporation!
We have a comprehensive range of fenders and a huge range of chandlery products, selling direct to the public at exhibitions, shows or via this website. Our reputation has been built up by providing a service which is fast, friendly and personal.
We take a lot of time to source not just great value but great quality products and we are able to advise our customers fully and clearly, ensuring they get the right products for their needs. Fenders are sourced, together with related items such as fender covers, lanyards, cleats etc. from the world's leading manufacturers. Our chandlery stock includes, anchors, rope, flags etc. We attend many of the boat shows, boat jumbles and other nautical events in the UK and Europe and are very much a hands-on company. We always enjoy meeting our customers and are happy to give help and advice. Please feel free to contact us at any time if you are unsure what you require or have any other enquiries.
Please note: You are always welcome to collect items in person from The Compass Office but a couple of days notice would be useful as our warehouse is out of town!
